The theme for this early spring party was around the colour pink, and so we had lovely early pink blossom together with trees dripping with catkins, flowering hellebores, white scented jasmine, crocus and hyacinths. The room used for the drinks reception featured a central urn filled with assorted garden foliage, pink lilies, pink blossom, pussy-willow, clusters of assorted pink roses in different shades, flowering lilac, antirrhinum and gerbera.
The entrance to the main reception room was graced by a pair of white perspex plinths, on which were two large glass vases filled with foliage and a mass of flowers so it felt as if you were walking under an arch of flowers to gain access to the main room.
Each table had a central crystal candelabra, with an arrangement around the base of foliage and flowers similar to those in the urn, together with assorted church candles and nite-lites. We also hung nite-lites within the catkin trees, which looked totally magical.
